2Rainbows, 2Angels, 2Gouramis, 2Balas

Bala sharks are really common in pet shops over here...and there is a lot of 'don't worry they only grow to fit the tank' guff by the sellers...pity, but I'd be returning them as well.

Ah well - once bitten twice shy etc. You'd be far from the first to have brought home a few balas and then realised what you'd taken on.

even my good LFS says "what size is your tank? they will only grow, blah blah...."
 
So basically we pay for the fish, take them away, feed them till they're too big for our tanks and then the shop "does us a favour" by taking them back! Have to give them credit for that one! Thinking of getting a couple of paradise fish? I think they're black paradise fish. Worth getting or not?
