3 days smoke free!!!

Proud of ya, Cheech. It's such a hard thing to do. I quit way back in college, but not cold turkey. Can't say too much LOL except every time I felt a bad jones comin' on, I'd use my "replacement"--one hit and I was fine. Don't recommend it, just sharin'!!! Of course, this was in late 70's!!!!:Angel:

Do yourself a favor, skip the beer for a couple of weeks.

Makes it much easier to say * it.

And then... you have to start all over again! :duh:

I quit 5 months ago... but I was also using the commit lozange. It wasn't nearly as hard as cold turkey. Now I hardly think about cigarettes.

Congrats!!! You CAN DO IT. I quit 8 years ago. Took me 5 tries, I used the patch. It WILL get easier so HANG IN THERE!!! It is well worth it. Took a week for me to stop reaching for them. Don't give up, it you start up again TRY AGAIN TO QUIT! You WILL succeed!

Just wait cheech for what ever reason being an ex smoker I now find the smell of it repulsive and hate to be around it. I have heard a lot of other smokers say the same thing. If im in a bar or something its not that big of a deal but when I leave and go to fresh air and all I can smell is the cigerette smoke in my cloths it drives me nuts. Same with sitting in a smokers car. Its well worth it and just think of all the fish stuff you will be able to buy with your cigarette money. Last time I was in Canada they where more than in the US to buy them.

I'll have to agree with that...

It's a bit funny that I can smell a smoker ahead of me on roads and interstates!
You will be amazed at all the good and bad smells you can 'detect' again - and of course the extra money is a good thing!
