3 gallon eclipse

As for a heater, I found a Juniors Heater at Petland (not sure if that's all over the country) but it was around 14 bucks and it heats up the tank quick well. Not as good as the regular heaters. But, kinda good for a small tank.

Anyone have any experience with a 8 Gallon Nano 180º Half Moon?

Theylook super cool! I am curious about the heater slot? Anyone have the details or a photo?

I have this tank. It's a really unique look and I like the way the filtration is set up. Water is pumped up through an intake tube and out through a spray bar. The spray bar sprays the water through a filter pad, and there is also a bag of carbon and ceramic rings included if you choose to use them.

The heater slot works fine, but you don't have to use it.

Just thought I'd drop a word in.

I love my 3 gallon eclipse. $40 for a filtered and lighted tank is a great deal. Flow is good, not too strong for a betta. I don't see any way it could leak, unless it cracked.
Lighting leaves something to be desired. It's not good enough for anything but low-light plants, but low light plants are easiest to care for anyway.
If you're keeping it in an 80 degree room, you'd probably have to keep the little access hatch off to keep it cool. I keep it in a 77 degree room and it heats up to 82.

I use cut-to-fit filter floss media, at the moment it's on top of the marineland cartridge. The cartridges are ok, but they've got unnecessary carbon and they're a bit expensive. It's really easy to use cut-to-fit pads, though.

Hi, the link to your photo didn't work for me. Can you verify or re-post it?

:::edit:::
nvm, it worked! Nice tank!

PM sent. Here are some more pics. The heater slot is to the right of the filtration output. The other pic is just a close up of the spray bar system. The pump in this system is very quiet.

I actually ended up going with the 3 gallon. I figure if its lasts a year, it will be a success for around $40.

I added a few glass shrimp as a clean up crew. Thus far the betta has ignored them. I will post photos later.
