This is not correct, Sollie. Paypal fees are less than 3% of the purchase price, plus 30 cents.

Buyers should also understand they assume some risk when sending payment for a sale transaction as a "gift." In that case, the buyer has no recourse through Paypal's resolution center should a dispute occur between buyer and seller for that transaction; i.e., the buyer forfeits their ability to file a dispute/claim against the seller if they make a "gift" of the payment they sent.

and I just got that number because I just sold something for 8.00 and they charged me like 53 cents in fees then so I multiplied 8.00 by .7 and it gave me 56 cents so I said its like 7% which is true in this case atleast ok so I apologize just send it normally and add 3% plus 30 cents
