3 Liter DIY CO2

I know that you can get 3L bottles of pop, has anyone used these on aquariums? It seems like the perfect option for slightly larger aquariums like 29's and up. You could maybe get a longer production period if you use 50%more water and sugar and leave the yeast the same. You could just increase all ingredients by 50% (because 3L is 50% bigger than the usuall 2L bottles) and get more CO2 for the same period. Anyone done this?

Go for it, thats what I would do if I didn't have the puny Hagen bottle.

Yeah, I've used them. I had 2 of them on my 55g when it was a planted tank.

I got one right now. Never used a two litter bottle so I can't compare. Just started with it though, so I haven't got it all figured out yet.
