it does look like a L333 but if you look at the pattern on the dorsal fin, you can clearly tell its a L134

I guess you don't know anything about pleco, though I see your name on PF.. It's clearly an adult L134!

Wow...we're testy tonight :) I guess I don't know anything about plecos :) I own 6 L134, just didn't look like any of mine. Also doesn't look like any in planetcatfish - http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=213, it's really none of my business, I just didnt think it looked like a 134, I would have questioned it if I bought the fish as an L134. But if you believe that's what it is, you should probably up your price. :)

I'm not here to argue and derailed anyones thread, but I also have a dozen adults, among other L numbers..

I don't think so, cause you can still get them (WC), but L333 are not readily available as far as wild caught.. There's some L-333 F1's that will pop up in the market from time to time.. L134 are not in the banned list yet..

Ahhh... I guess I don't know my plecos after all :) I was looking at the pattern and 333 and 66s have the more swirly body patterns whereas the 134s have more straight pattern.

That's a cool looking 134 :) Good luck on your sale! If no one picks it up here, you may want to consider listing in Aquabid, they seem to fetch a higher price there than the 333s

To avoid confusion, N Motion, please confirm what your set price will be for the pleco. You've asked others for opinions on what you should charge (based on identification). You've also implied that you might raise the price... or not. This isn't very clear.

Both of these questions need to be resolved so buyers can decide whether they want to make this purchase or not.

Thanks.
