Does anyone use this light fixture?

http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsU...5/cl0/coralifefwt5aqualightdoublestriplight30

It includes a 6,700K and a "full spectrum" light strip that is displayed as pink on the website. Are these light fixture and light bulbs any good for growing lowlight plants in a 20g or a 20g L as advertised?

Also, what color is the light going to be? I would hate to have a pink-lit fish tank. I currently have "white" lights over a lot of lowlight plants, and that's what I would want for the 29g/20g L.

Aren't you supposed to use both of the lights? Or do you just use 2 of the same light bulbs? What color does it give off when you use both?

One more question; it says it includes mounts. Are they the kind that are like "legs?"

The mounts are metal legs that extend out from the light fixture. They are adjustable to fit different tanks.

I have a 24" on my 30L BN breeding tank. It works quite well enough to support the Najas I grow in most of my tanks, and grew the Amazon frogbit nicely when I had some in there as well. I use 2 6700k bulbs.

From the feedbacks I'm getting and reading from old (really old, lol) posts, this seems to be a good choice. I think I will get one, but I'm going to check with my LFS to see if they can order it for me, so I can save on some shipping from Big Al (seems like this place has the best prices).

Hm, just found this for 25 bucks more: http://www.bigalsonline.com/StoreCa...y=nova+extreme+30&queryType=0&hits=12&offset=. It has more wattage and claims to have a good reflector! It also qualifies for free shipping! Sounds pretty good.
