This is one of the coolest thigns I've ever seen. I love how the rocks got that nice "natural" algae look to them. And that blue fish is sweet. I want one lol

Ok maybe I missed it somewhere but are you adding any Hillstream Loaches...I thought that is what this project was for.
The hillstream loaches were a maybe, and were secondary to the stiphodon, which are really far nicer fish in so many ways. I'd really prefer to get more stiphodon sometime soon, so I haven't jumped at any other species.
I've been loving the tank and the natural algae look. In the past week to 10 days though, I've been witnessing the algae receding off the rocks. It's a little nerve racking to see it disappearing, exposing raw stone. I've started adding fertilizers to see if I can bring it back. There's still food, but less and less every day.

I very much enjoyed this thread and seeing your hardscaping. It gave me many ideas for my pleco tank.
If u still have the akysis vespa u should get picks of them cuz im thinking about getting some... a update of the hole tank would be cool to...
