i was going to switch over last Sunday buy upon water testing i noticed a small leak in the overflow. so i resealed it. i have water in it now. hopefully it will hold this time

i have owned several tanks made from 1/2" glass.i haven't really noticed it if there is.

ok so i built the hood today and got some wiring done on the lights. i still need to rewire the frag tank lights . so that all the wires are in the back.

Are you only doing 4 T5s on your Display? And are you going to hang the lights over the frag tank?
no and yes lol. the lighting on the display is temporary. i have 10 more of those lights coming so it will have 10 on the display and 10 over the frag tank giving me 180 watts over each. i am going to raise them off of the frag tank with some cables in the front hinged in the back so i can raise them up and out of the way.
Dang.. ok, 4 was not enough... 10... ummm, are these T5HOs? 10 would be insane if so. I would say that is too much lighting if they are HOs.
crap, i guess i will just use some of them on the fuge
so you think i should have more on the display then the frag tank? what if i ran 6 on the display and 4 on the frag tank? these are HO btw
