Alright, well my last set up went completely south. Got over run with algea, but for good reason... I didn't keep up with anything, and had absolutly 0 clue what i was doing. Yes, it was set up for about 1 1/2 years, so pretty good for not knowing at all what i was doing.. but then one day, the tank got screwd, and instead of fighting it, I figured this time i would do some reasearch and actually learn what i am supposed to be doing! lol ;) :)

So, this is my re-do of my 30gal-----

It has actually been set up for a little more than 2 weeks now, but I havn't gotten around to posting any pics.. so here is some of its progress already...

And yes, there water is cloudy because I was going through a bacteria bloom... But its all better now :)

Light - Coralife Light 96watts, 6700K (giving me about 3.2 watts per gal)
Substrate - eco-complete
Co2 - diy 3 bottles (currently giving me a reading of about 24ppm)

Then that started to establish, the rotala grew so fast, ive already trimed it! :)

Anways, then i got some glosso, 4 bunches...

it came in bunches weird... Glosso is sooooo time consuming, than i could only do one bunch a night, takes forever! ;)

Then I decided that I wasn't too happy with the way it looked, so i moved the fern while there was still time, and got rid of the micro sword.

I personally like this much much better :)

I plan on having the rotala fill in the other corner of the tank to match. (you can already see that i have had to trim it) :) :)

Everything seems to be growing quite well :)

I still have one more bunch of glosso to go through though, lol, its hard work and very time consuming.. lol, i plan on getting to it tonight ;)

Very nice, Mud!

Thanks everyone! :) Personally, I like this set up better than my inital.
I still have to go through one more bunch of glosso and then once that is all planted, then i have to figure if i want to get some more anubis coffiolas or not... No rush... Things still need to grow in ;)

I think everything should look really good once it starts to grow in :)
