i have a 33 Gallon tank and am looking for a nice centrepiece fish and a few bottom dwellers to add to it,

so far i have

1 britlenose
7 neons
3 female guppies

i was thinking about maybe some smaller gourami but not sure about the bottom dwellers

1 BN is fine they do a great job, how about some small Cory's like albino cats or panda cat's, Harlequins, penguins, they are schooling fish..:)

Personally I would suggest that you add to your tank a few Amano Shrimp. They clean up quite a bit of algae, they are peaceful, fun to watch, and they produce a very small biolode for their size (up to 5cm). Then, as far as a centerpiece fish, a pair of gourami would be nice, or a few rainbow fish, you could even go with a pair of german blue ram, they are very cool fish.

I would just add to the school of neons, the larger it is, the more impressive of a display. For centerpiece fish maybe a pair of dwarf cichlids like Curviceps or maybe a species of apisto.

Here's a list:

1 Bristlenose
3 female guppies
1 male 2 female cobalt blue dwarf gouramis
6 cories (8 if you get dwarf or pygmy, 7 if panda)
9 neons
