36"long tank on 30"long stand?

Plywood can and will warp with time when under heavy pressure, and the stand would not be in proper balance with the weight edges beyond the frame of the stand...seems quite dangerous to me.

well, there goes that idea.

thanks guys.

i was never too handy, so im just goign to have to buy a new stand? or maybe just stick with my 29 for now.

metal tubular stands are usually not too expensive, at least compared to the cabinet stands.

and, you can usually put another tank underneath which is cool.

i actually have a metal double stand for my 38 gallon tank, but i'd hate to put this tank on the bottom, i could barely see it then.
