37g canopy & lights

just finished building the canopy for my 37g .I put in 4 26w CFL Daylight 6500k bulbs (104 watts ) Turned out pretty well considering I've never made anything out of wood before. couple pics..

thanks,I'm pretty impressed with it myself,heck,I may build one now for my 55g and see how many of them bulbs I can fit in it.

now I can get rid of that big plastic plant in the corner and put a REAL plant there :grinyes:

I intentionally left that gap/space there in the front,and one on the top to help get rid of some of the heat build-up.I'm thinking now I should have done it in the back instead of the front.

go ahead,I got it the same way and just adjusted the measurements to the tank,the one I "copied" from was for a 55g I found someplace :huh: I have the plans saved as a MS Word doc. with pics and all if you want it
(the 55's my next project I think)
