I have an 38 gallon that i would like to stock with some oddball fish. Would an african butterfly fish, a baby whale, a couple peacock gudgeons and a dragon goby work or any combination of those? Also does anyone have any information on breeding any of these fish? I'm wanting to breed the gudgeons the most.

Not very. They use electricity to find food, and can't shock you.

Dragon gobies are strictly brackish water fish and will die shortly in FW conditions. A butterfly fish would work, 3 baby whales, 2 peacocks gudeons, maybe 4 kuhli loaches???

i agree with oddball thats pretty much the exact setup of oddballz i would do!

Im glad you agree. :D

that sounds great. I was thinking about kuhli loaches for a different tank and it never occurred to me to put them in the 38 gallon.

could i possibly do that in a 29 gallons except without the butterfly? i want to use my 38 for my cichlids so i can keep some of the babies when they grow up.

Not really, 8 less gallons equals less fish.

I would take out 2 Kuhli Loaches, or the butterfly and the gudgeons, or something with 2 fish
