40+ deaths in less then two weeks, please help

I can't believe you've been able to keep 8 clown loaches alive because don't they require very clean water? Also, have you been this overstocked the whole 2 years you've had the tank?
I used to do a pwc once a week and got lazy and started dong it once every two weeks. My water was pretty clean and all my fish were fine until I added all those snails. Adding all those snails at once and that rotting media bag was what made my tank crash. I've been overstocked for a little less then a year.
