40 gal high flow tank

Great looking tank,

I'm suspecting that they aren't Neons nor Cardinals, I'd have expected more red if they were.

If you open the pics up, there is some red. But I'll readily concede it was just a guess...very few tetras interest me.

Stiphodons are going to be hard to get a picture of when taking a full tank shot...depending on species, of course, but even a 'large' variety maxes out at 5 cm.

Nice! I wish the algae in my tank grew like yours. Mine is growing crazy, everywhere.

If you look at the full tank shot (2nd photo), you can see a male percnopterygionus at the end of the tank.

Nice digging, Doug! So, I'm guessing the blue ones are the neon blue rasboras, sundadanio axelrodi. Some pictures of these fish show some red on the fins. It still looks like there's some eyespot rasbora, brevibora dorsiocellata, and some neon yellow rasbora, microdevario kubotai, in there as well.

I know what you mean about the stiphodons in a FTS, OG. I've seen them at my LFS, and they're quick, well camouflaged (at least for that tank), and not that big. I thought they were juvies, but if they max out at about 2 inches, then they were about full grown.

Sorry for the late response. Fauna is green neon, kubotai rasbora, celestial pearl danios, emerald eye rasbora... Ground fish include 2 pairs stiphodon perc and 2 male stiphodon atros, 1 sewelia lineolata and a few japonica and yellow fire shrimp.
Thank you all for the kind words. This tank has been coming along nicely for the last 5 mins after I moved. I'll try to get some good shots of the stiphodons as they are wonderful little fish.
