Seems like the bolingbrooke, il location is actually open now, gonna head over in a couple min and check it out.

Yea, i was just going to check it out, was pretty cool.

They were expensive but you gotta be these days to be a brick and mortar store so i cant hold that against them.

They had about 5 big display tanks.

3 of them were about 200g. one being discus one being piranha and one being cichlids.

Then they had a elongated hexagon tank that was probably about 8ft wide 5ft tall and 3ft deep, was rather impressive.
After seeing that i saw a life goal. The glass was about a full inch thick..
It was a cichlid tank that was at least 10ft wide 3ft deep and 3 feet tall by far the biggest rectangle all glass tank i have seen. Several of its inhabitants were almost a foot long and looked small was really pretty cool.

As for the sale tanks they were all clean and fish looked healthy. Prices on the fish were high but again that's to be expected. selection was pretty good but can always be better.

The two people they had helping costumers were on the high end of how i would rate the knowledge of a sales person, relatively however.

well that was today's adventure :)

I happened to take a trip up north (NY) today so I stopped in there. It was a great store, very nice display tanks & all sorts of different fish. The prices were crazy though! Examples...Eheim 2217 - $240, Marineland 350 HOB - $140. All the fish were like double the prices I have seen elsewhere too. Nice for a visit but not for purchases, even with the sale.

Like i said prices are high, but there is a sale with 40-50% off, prices become normal
