If I were you I would set it up and run it in a safe area for a while. I wouldn't want to come home to 400 gallons in my living room. I would be hard for me to instantly trust anything that hasn't been used in 20 years. BTW, I hope it works out, FW or SW it's hard to go wrong with a 400 gallon tank. The possibilities are endless.
