40B stock and plans

Nah, I had that stem & liked it for the easiness of it. Go with what grows well for you & your tank. I was just kidding you, you know that, LOL. Sure try something new but don't dismiss the easy 1s.

I also like the holiday decor! I don't think I noticed it before...

angels get 6” long even when stunted their true size is 8+ inches long a 40 breeder is 36 inches long and a 29 is even less it’s like a baby Goldfish in a bowl

I had full grown angels. They only get 6” long and about 7-9” tall. My original angel I had as a kid started out in a 29 gallon tank and was upgraded to a 37. I had done research on many of the fish I keep and a lot on angels. Some sites say 20 gallons for a single or a breeding pair of angels. A shoal of 6-8 angels can be kept in a 75 gallon tank.

Here is a picture of my old angelfish.

Those are altum angels, they get larger then the Pterophyllum scalare which are what I have keep. Altums grow to 7” long and 8-9” tall. Scalare grow to 5-6” long and 7-8” tall. Altums min tank size is 55 gallons while the Scalare min tank is 20-30 gallons. My old angelfish was 6” long and 8” tall and my blue marble is 5” long and 7” tall.
