4300 Gallon Plywood Build (3600+ Take 2)

Looking at the configuration I couldn't help but wonder if it would be possible to build the tank in the same dimensions free standing (Framed & plywood aquarium) and when finished just have it moved up empty with a forklift against the viewing wall into a framed receiving spot so that it looks exactly the same as built in. Then you could take the tank with you empty using a forklift onto a moving truck for your next home and make a new wall opening to receive the all wood tank with Plexiglas front, or just sell it. Just an idea I had.

Lumber is cheap enough that the tank could be demolished, the acrylic retrieved, then a new tank built easier than it would be to dismantle the existing tank. The tank is 8x12 internal dimensions, so you'd have to remove the entire front of that room to get it out. No forklift company rents to residential and a several ton forklift would sink in the front yard and/or crack the sidewalk/driveway. More cost effective to demolish, salvage acrylic, and rebuild.

The reason I'm building the front first and then building the tank after the acrylic is in place is that there is no way to move the 500+ lb. acrylic in place with the tank there already.

I was originally going to build it in 6 4'x4' sections when I was going to use a pond liner like my friend's tanks are done, but since deciding to use Blue Max, I am building as one unit.
