Can't wait to get home today and start working on the tank and fish room. It's going to be a beautiful and productive weekend. If you're in the area and want to stop by, let me know.

wow what a way to spend my saturday night! 3 hours of reading from page one and i may add i hate reading but i am captivated and also envious! I can't wait to see the finished product! it has always been a dream of mine to so much as have a tank in the wall but you have added a whole new dimension to "tank in the wall" I can't even begin to think how much time and preparation has gone into this project, gosh it took me forever just to built a 65gallon (8 months ago) but i'm far to scared to water test it as i have already had to take it apart once and really dont want to do it again.
Good luck with sealing!
And now for something completely different...Just call me Vincent
I feel like Van Gogh!
First pic is from a year ago from the initial attempt at building this monster. The rest are from just after midnight when I finally finished off the 1 gallon that I started with. A thin coat goes a long way. Many more thin coats to go, but enjoy.
Maddie, it dries pretty quick, so won't really be a big deal to do. Just have to not paint myself into a corner away from where I can reach the ladder to get out. I would have started on the floor, but I was too tired to deal with toting the shop vac over the wall of the tank and back out again.
