4300 Gallon Plywood Build (3600+ Take 2)

Oh man this could be bad, very bad.

Unfortunately inspectors think that they can make up codes on the spot and since they have the authority to condemn your building for not doing what they tell you to...... they pretty much can make crap up.

I had one moron inspector insist that a smoke detector had to be placed on the bottom of an elevator shaft as well as the one that normally is at the top. I guess it is there in case the laws of physics change during a fire causing smoke to go down.

I'm guessing that he is going to require structural blueprints sealed by an engineer and probably requiring a licensed plumber and electrician do the install. Which will mean ripping out those two systems and paying someone else to do what you have already done.

My sympathies.

I know this is April 1 and all...but that definately isn't funny!

And I was getting ready to suggest something kewl for ya too. After you get this monster built and stocked....get you an RC submarine and mount a camera to it. How much awesomeness would that be? ;o)

Add a web interface for the sub and put a link to sign up for time slots on AC.
