4300 Gallon Plywood Build (3600+ Take 2)

This has been so amazing to watch come together, I had followed the other thread as well. It's great to see how much you have gotten done, I can't wait to see it wet!

Worked on the floor frame and did some maintenance on the 8 tanks in the garage. Whooped. I was able to use all of the scrap boards 5.5" and longer on the floor frame. I don't think there's any left, but I'll have to check when it's daylight to be sure. Going to try to finish up everything I need to get done before the plywood sheathing. Need my friends' tools and expertise to cut the plywood right the first time. I also want to get some more eyes on everything before I put the sheathing up.

AS for cutting the Ply Wood. You can clamp a board on it and use it as a "fence" to make sure you get a straight cut! Just an Idea. Takes a second more to set up but will get you some Good CUTS!!!!!!!!

Bought the rest of the lumber I needed to work on the floor framing. I should finish that up tomorrow. May go the the plywood and start working on that. Need 12 sheets. I'm going to spend the little extra and get the tongue and groove for 6 of them that I can make use of it on.

Roommate hooked me up with a piece of surgical tubing, so I was able to make the caulking tip extension I need to backfill the front seal. She also offered to help out and be my eyes from the other side of the tank to tell me when the gap is filled.

The back seal is going to be the the primary, so I'm not concerned about the front not being contiguous at all. It's pretty much only to cushion the acrylic rather than make it water tight. The edge/middle seal is contiguous and the back will be flush with the plywood and acrylic filling the gap between the two.

 sounds like a plan , i will wait here for some more pics.
