4300 Gallon Plywood Build (3600+ Take 2)

Pete, that's a milestone achievement, or should I say a milegallon achievement?
Congrats so far, I'm sure you're pretty much sweating it now. Guess there's many people doing the same...

Cheers and take it easy now...

Another question...You're going to leave the water sitting there and hope for time and no hick-ups until you finish the filters? Or you gonna drain it again and refill once all is ready?

Thanks Luc. A lot more work to do before it's completed, but on the way to seeing it operational soon.

I'm going to leave it in for a little while to monitor evaporation and structural integrity. I'll turn the Crystal Pond 5200 pump on and let it run an hour daily to keep things from getting stagnant. That thing is a beast.

I have to order a couple bulkheads for the coast to coast skimmer. Still debating on installing the settling tanks on the filters, though I think it might be best for protecting the pumps. (Reeflo Hammerheads)

Working out the placement of all the filtration and plumbing. Have to keep in mind that I need to setup the heating before October, but not really worried about it right now.

Completely awesome! Think I would be on pins and needles for a few weeks, checking for leaks evry ten minutes! LMAO! That shot with the water halfway up the window made me catch and hold my breath, but can imagine enjoying breakfast and coffeee there for sure.

look forward to seeing in up and running:)
