4300 Gallon Plywood Build (3600+ Take 2)

Had to go to the emergency room Tuesday of last week for obstructed vision in my left eye. They call it an ocular occlusion and I've been playing guinea pig and pin cushion for the doctors as they run a bunch of tests to see if anything else is wrong with me.

Stay tuned. I should be getting the liner soon. The wife just bought 5 redfoot tortoises, so it'll be in the next few weeks before she can buy it.

That plastic liner should stop any vent leaks from forming as you fill the tank next time, allowing you to raise the water level far beyond privious attempts where previously leaks suddenly formed due to either surface sealer imperfections or progressive structural separation. I am hoping the latter is not that case.

Ken and I worked on the frame for the back of the window today. I'll take some pictures later on when I can find the camera. I'm going to finished putting the screws in then fill the holes and caulk the gap between the 2x6s and the window with Dow 795. After that, I'm going to coat the boards with Permadri. We feel confident that this will resolve the problem.

Ken told me yall were working on it today! I wish you success!!!!!!!!! :grinno:

oh my god i'm so excited...the simple prospect of being able to see more work on your tank has made my day. Thankyou
