I have this fixture. 260 watt total power compacts on a 90g

the 48" model.

What bulbs would you recommend for a planted tank, I want it to look nice also, for instance on a reef tank most people would run 2 10k and 2 actinic's which gives it a very nice look in the tank, would this be good for a planted tank?

The 10000K's will work pretty well. The actinics wont. Get some 6700K bulbs to replace the actinics. I have 6700Ks in my coralifes, and the plants love 'em!!

how does the color look overal? I do not much care for yellow look, have a picture of your tank with the lights on?

the pics and what the take looks like most of the time are different. i have some 6700 and 10000 on my tank. both are fine for a planted tank.

The tank doesn't have a yellow hue at all. Everything is very vibrant.
