the puffer will eat the shrimp. just to give you a heads up

Nope i kept him with shrimp in a different tank and he didnt eat them i had ghost and amino. I just got back from the lfs about an hour ago and just added the shrimp. He ignores them.

Alot of people find shrimp a success with dp's but some dont lol.

there just ghost shrimp. wich i will slowly pick out and feed to my festivum but when i find some amino's again i will be adding about 4 of those.

what type of live plants would go into the tank?

java moss is a must

Java fern and maybe wisteria (sp)

and maybe some sort of braud leaf plant

The shrimp are hiding. last night i turned the light off and i have a little led flaslight that i set in the back of the tank so that it very dimmly lit it i left for about 2 hours and came back and i saw two shrimp out and about.

i wouldnt doubt if these guys die. the are ment to be food. and they where kept in poor conditions.

i just got them to make sure my puffer is still friendly and to feed my festivum

but i will have some amino shrimp soon i hope.
