5 gallon "natural" tank

I was thinking about starting a 5 gallon planted tank maybe with some shrimp, and was wondering If anyone had ideas or tips on a tank with no filter. I know it would require frequent water changes but i thought that it would be a pretty cool project.

iv seen some bigger tanks but never a wireless 5 g. i have no doubt that it would work out, with plenty of plants and waterchanges

^agreed about the plants...I just don't know how much plant you can fit into a 5 gallon

You can fit quite a few plants In a 5 gallon, i've done smaller planted tanks. My mane conser though would be water flow, though I do know there's some good information for natural aquarium that might have the answers your looking for. There is one auther spesificly who is famise for that type but I can't remember her full name, diana a something.

^agreed about the plants...I just don't know how much plant you can fit into a 5 gallon

quite a few, they usually are(standard) 16x8x10. Probably keep some HC, micro sword, and a few others nicely.

NPT's are more specialized so AC probably won't make a forum for it. But aquatic plant central has a sub forum dedicated to it so you could check over there for info too.
