I tried shrimp a while ago but they just don't interest me. It doesn't help that ghost shrimp are the only thing I see around here. No i really am looking for fish, thanks for the advice though

I have never had a gourami before, may be something to think about. I guess I didn't realize I had so many options I was afraid people would just tell me to get a 10 gallon lol.

They look so small and awesome, seems like a challenge, just to set one up
Im Hoping to get one after I get my 30 (MTS much? ha)
Platies or neons are nice, but it's really what YOU want

If you are looking for Dario Dario (Scarlet Badis) try asking your LFS to order them. Females are next to impossible to find but they should be able to get you some males. Just know that Darios are usually in horrible shape by the time you get them. I think it's because no one bothers to feed them live food.

I enjoy the challenge my 5 gallon presents

I'm looking into paradise fish now in case I can't get Scarlet Badis. My local LFS are usually difficult to deal with. Paradise fish seem neat though, they seem to have a lot of personality, I would need to finally get a lid for my tank though.
