I don't know the first thing about ADF's, but my rule of thumb is always go as big as you can afford, and have space for.
#1. The larger the volume of water the more stable it is
#2. the larger the tank the more future options you have

they're in my 90 gallon atm, but they're hard to feed because of all the fish eating the food. I also don't really have a frog friendly set up in terms of places they can stay
Go for the 10! Out here, in MN, a 10 gal. costs about 10 bucks, but I can only find a 5 gal. for 20 bucks or more. I think it's because the 5 gal. tanks look fancier.

Get the 10g. They do tend to be cheaper and are more stable, have more room, and have more options with them.
90g is way too big of a tank for them, as my article mentions, for the reasons you stated. They cannot be fed in a tank that large.
