Hello i am new to this website and i am setting up my first 50 gallon tank. I was wondering what fish to stock it with.

I was thinking:
4 otos
5 cory catfish
3 swordtails
4 hatchets
1 or 2 schools of 6 of a type of tetra
I was wondering wether to get Angels (I am afriad of how they would do with smaller fish or i would deffinately get them) or if i dont get a pair of angels i was thinking about 2 bovilian rams and/or 2 dwarf gouramis.

Is this overstocked, or just enough? Would the fish get along? What fish would you suggest?

I am also open to any complete other ideas of fish.

Personally, I might skip the swords and go with 8 or so hatchets and 8-10 of one sort of tetra (along with your otos and corys-maybe even a few more of them)and call it a day. Fish usually school better when there are more and IMO that looks cooler than a mish mash of different fish. I consolidated 2 smaller tanks into a large one and now I have a mish mash... wish it was just more of a couple of the fish I have. I could be wrong, but I think all the smaller fish might be too much action for the angels. Maybe the dwarf gourami...

4 otos - Wait a while on these. Until you have algae actively growing, they are likely to starve.
5 cory catfish - Good plan.
3 swordtails - Meh. I would skip them. They tend to be "pushy" with smaller fish.
4 hatchets - Good plan. I would get more, though. Maybe 6.
1 or 2 schools of 6 of a type of tetra - Good plan. Your options are wide open here, except maybe cardinals and small rummy-noses (possibly angel snacks). Bleeding hearts, black skirts, lemons, silvertips, neons, glowlights, diamonds (if you can find them), and many others would be fine choices.
I would add two angels and call it done. My angels are full-grown and don't chase, harrass or attempt to eat the glowlight and black neon tetras in their tank. Once you're cycled, I would start with the cories. A week later, tetras. Another week, then hatchets. I'd wait 2-3 weeks after that to add otos and angels.

^^^^ Good plan!
