Ok I have an Oscar and Red DevilI in different 50 gallons. Which fish would be most appropriate to keep in their 50 gallon, and which fish most appropraite for the 125.

Could the RD and Oscar live together in the 125. Im thinking of first setting up the tank with a divider so both fish can get used to eachother, the RD is pretty agressive, charging at the glass, and hes only 4 inches. He alredy bites me. So I dunno. If I keep the RD alone in the 125 (6 foot tank) would he thrive, could I add some bottom feeders such as clown loaches? Sorry for so many questins.

its possible to have a jag and a rd. its also possible to have a oscar and a rd. 6 feet is a lot of room. oscar max growth is 12" and rd i not to shure but most cichlids are maxed out at 10-12". its the matter of how much room your fish wants. to me i think its worth a try. if it gets bad take out the weaker fish

Not so sure about the Oscar and RD. The Oscar is just not tough enough. I have a Jag and RD, actually a Midas in a 150. The Jag gets beat up every once in a while but he always bounces back. Depends on the fish.
