Im soo happy for christmas i got a 50 dollar spending spree certificate for my local LFS petland! I still havent spent it! lol I have thought and thought but have no idea what to buy. my 29g is stocked already and is perfect for me buti have 10g with 1 Indian Giant Gourami (not actually a giant gourami looks like a paradise fish i guess) and 1 zebra loach (lol not actually a zebra botia its a fish incorrectly named but he is small and will prolly stay small. What should i add? I have 2 amazon sword plants in there and small fake plant my filter is kinda oldi guess i could buy a new one. But are there any fish addition suggestions and remeber money is not an issue ( except for like 100 dollar fish lol) any suggestions on what to add to my 10g would be great :D !

Maybe so more cleaner fish? Schooling fish etc.

Some zebra danios would be good, if your gourami likes the bottom. They like the top. Maybe 4 or 5 would be good. Maybe a pleco, but they get big in time and don't know if you plan to get a much bigger tank later in life.

i'd say add 2 more zebra loaches cuz they do much better in small groups...but a 10g is really too small for that. too small for loaches in general. and WAY too small for a pleco. don't go down that road. i always found zebras kind of annoying, the way they zip around. also, they like to swim, so they might not be the best choice for a 10g. maybe a small school of cherry barbs or some kind of small tetra? glowlights are cool. you could get a few of those and perhaps a trio of otos to clean up?

I have tried to raise tetras in that 10g too many times! everytime i do ich comes and wipes all the tetra's out (i did treat them but the medicine never seems to save them in time)mu Gourami swims everywhere he usually near the top but he also is on the bottom in the middle everywhere. More suggestions! :D ty for your time:D

ich shouldn't just show up like that...you should consider getting some medicine or following other prevention/treatment instructions you can find on here via a search...it's certainly not fair to blame the species of fish!:D

anyway, you should consider the cherry barbs i mentioned. they're not the most active fish, but they have nice colors, and you could have a small school. other than that, if you don't tetras, you're kind of limited. zebras are ehhh in my opinion. you could get some harlequin rasboras?

lol it is the species fault! lI did water changes and everything i could and they still die but i guess i could get a school of black neons or neon tetras would those 2 school together?
