500 Gallon Aquarium

You people have really jumped the gun this time.

First we need the dimensions of the tank just to be sure how big it truly is.

Then we need your parameters... you know... ammonia, nitrites and nitrates.

What kind of lighting do you have? What kind of filtration?

Anyone who suggests any stocking of fish or plants without knowing these things in advance is being totally irresponsible.

Sheeesh people... get real... :shakehead:

Q

hehe

OMG a neon??? Dont you know that they are schooling fish? 500gal is NOT enough for even a small school of tetras... take it back and get a guppy fry or something teeny like that

 :grinyes: :grinno:

IMHO I think you're really limited to a betta. You see, they have this thing called a labyr... oh nevermind :grinno:

if its still small the tetra can stay but you will need to take it back soon, full grown it will barely be able to turn around in that tank:nono: do you have a chiller for the tank?

i have been thinking bout your stocking problem, i think that you can keep your tetra if you do a 50% water change every other day!
