Hi everyone...i am a newbie in this hobby. My brother gave me his 50 gallon tank..and so i bought a 4.5 inch male Green Terror, 2 african cichlids (PINDANI and RED ZEBRA) and 6 giant danios,... i have an aquaclear power filter 40-70 gallons...will this fish tank be suitable for my fish?

No.

Mixing South American cichlids and african cichlids is a bad idea. Different diet, water requirements, and temperament.

That GT will far outgrow the tank and become aggressive.

Not enough room for 6 giant danios IMO. They need more horizontal swimming space as they are active fish.

And is this tank cycled?

my tank dimensions are 48x12.5 and 18 inch tall....tank has been running for 4 days before i brought home the fish....i plan on buying a 75g tank in the near future..but i wanna know how long will this tank be suitable for my fish?...(4.5 GreenTerror, 2 inch Pindani and 1 inch Red zebra..)

Unfortunately, it won't be suitable for this mix of fish IMO. I'm with Jpap on this one... it's better for the fish if you choose to do either an African setup or a SA/CA setup. If you want more options for fish in a 75, I'd lean toward an African setup... many SA/CA cichlids (like the green terror for example) need a 75 as a bare minimum due to their adult size. With an African cichlid tank, you could keep a nice variety of fish in a 75, and have a ton of color and activity. Unlike SA/CA cichlids, you can often get away with stocking an African tank heavily, as it disperses aggression (at least for mbunas).

ok, i said im gonna get rid of the africans..i wanna know if my 50g will be ok for my 4.5 inch green terror and the 6 giant danios? and if so, for how long?

Dude.... I was typing a post at the same time you were posting. Won't be ok for long, as GT's are fast growers.

ok, well i will be buying that 75g tank in a couple of months...but i have another question...in a 75g can i put my male Green terror, a Red devil, and a group of 4 convicts
