i would say no to the kenyi.

you can try the others, and see how it goes. provide lots of rockwork and caves as terretory markers. you could maybe get 2 or 3 of each. it will be a very colorful mix for sure!
red, yellow, blue, black, and electric blue.

if you can get your hands on any cynotilapia afra species those would work good as well.

how come the kenyis wont work. I got a compatibility chart that said they would.

well, based on the experience of others and the many things i've heard.... kenyis can be very aggressive. if not given enough room (and probebly wont have it in a 55), they will terrorize other fish.

i would rather not risk loosing all my fish just to have this one.

I would keep an eye on the jewels, they can get pretty evil for their size!
