yes i do plan to us eggcrate, also to stop any digging, are there any other stocking that would be better, or any other fish i could add

Its up to you on that my friend and really it sounds ok with that list, there are more scenarios that could play out but in the end its what makes you happy..
All i would ask from a friend or relative is to make sure that you treat your animal friends with the same care you would want.. so to depict that imagine yourself in a 10 foot by 10 foot cell with 10 maxed out body builder thugs all in the same room and your only 100LBS soaking wet and you just made everyone mad.. hehehe..
But really there are a lot of species you could go with and in the end they are all africans and just monitor what takes place in the tank, you may lose a few or you may have to remove a few as well..
