55 Gallon Rescape

I got a bag of black 3m Colorquartz s grade in June and I finally got around to putting it in my 55 mbuna tank. So here are some before and after pictures. The tank is still a little cloudy after the move. I'm not happy at all with the rocks so I will most likely be changing them around soon. Not for a while though I think my fish are sick of me messing with their hom lol. I also got a new light so I had a bit of trouble getting pictures that didn't scream blue! Enjoy!

Are you going to go with hardscaping only, or will you eventually add plants/other stuff?

Black substrate is wonderful! Looks great & I bet those new lights make the Mbuna look even better too! Did you go with 50/50s?

Nice tank....seems a lot of volume lost to rocks though.

I'm going to go with rocks only but I will be adding some fake plants. I tried plant in the tank and not only will my light not support them, my mbuna shredded them. I am using a reef sun 50/50 light and it's just perfect!
