hey everone I just got my 55 gallon tank... I will be making the 55g SW instead of doing the 30g (if that makes sense). what are some nice colorfull begginer fish for a 55 reef tank (corals/inverts too)??

clownfish, polyps, mushrooms

I have a sharpnosed puffer who gets to be about 3-5 inches long. He is awesome. Mine is like this one:

I would recommend staying away from Chromis. They are supposed to be nicer damsels but I have one that is a real s**t.

Lots of good medium size fish out there included grammas, firefish, gobies and blennies.

Coral Beauties are nice and colorful, as are the clowns. In a 55g you could probably get one of the smaller tangs, too.

Maybe a foxface also.

Those are all pretty colorful and relatively easy (from what I understand) ;)

Maybe a flame angel or some other dwarf angel, chromis (generally peaceful), clowns, gobies, royal gramma, some kinds of anthias, some wrasse if you're into them, and I'm sure there are some I can't think of.

Inverts- would you like? There are so many to choose from.
