Ok. I just want to make sure Im not overtstocked.
In my 55 gallon I have:

1 Clown Pleco
5 Zebra Danios
3 Sunset Platys
3 Swordtails (1 male, 2 femles)
5 Neon Tetras
2 Glass fish

I would like to add 4 Emerald corys which are right now in a quarantine tank, waiting to go into the 55, as well as 4 more neon tetras. I hope for a nice big school or shoal not sure which term best descibes neons. Im wondering if that is too many. If not Id love to add more tetras. Any input would be valued. Thanks.

Understocked is more like it. WIth the cories added to your stocking list, you could probably end up with 15-20 neons and still not be overstocked.

However, this isn't saying yuour stocking list is completely good, as I'm pretty sure a glass fish is a brackish water fish.

at first glance you should be okay. most of the species in your tank are relativley small .

I see you have a clown pleco..you have plenty of driftwood ?? clowns are woodeaters.

the glass fish ..is it Chandidae - chanda family?

these are fresh/brackish and may develop fungus (add salt if it does)

Clown Pleco

Yes plenty of driftwood. Different types too. I also feed him every two or three day before a water change with a little bit of boiled yam.

The cories are bottom feeder so adding them should not be a problem.

:thm: :D

Glass fish

Wehn I fist got them I didnt pay attention like I do now to which ones I was given. Upon getting them home, I noticed they had fungus and ich. Both were treated and seem to be totally thriving. And they have been very healthy since the begging of March. I also do water changes at least once if not twice per week.
