First off, PLEASE excuse the crappy cell phone pics.. I know, theyr ugly. :yuck:

Hello everyone, im tigerbarb88, but since i couldnt get my password and after many failed attempts to log in, i was blocked. Lol. Soooo heres my new account. :D if an admin could fix that, that'd be cool, if not, i can just keep this account.

Anywho.. Heres a 7 month update for my 55g planted tank.

I have attached a photo of when I first got my tank up and running, and a picture of it 7 months later..

Basic Rundown:

1.5in eco-complete on the bottom topped with regular gravel
108watt Shop light painted black
Plants inlclude: wisteria, java fern, corkscrew vals, red scarlet (dont know the scientific name off the top of my head), amazon swords, aaaand i think thats it.
Filter is an Eheim Ecco 60 cannister filter.
There are 10-12 tiger barbs in there, 5 emerald corries, 4 yoyo loaches, 5 blackskirt tetras, and i think thats it as well.. Lol.
I dose Excel Flourish every 3 days.

Thats pretty much it, again sorry for the crappy cell phone pix :)

WOW!!!! That's filled in nicely great job :thm:

Thank you! :)

Its starting to get a bit cluttered in there, so I might have to do some trimming. If anyone wants to make a trade for some trimmings from my tank, please feel free to PM me :) Lol im looking to add different plant species in there.

Keep in mind, I dont use Co2

Beautiful tank and what a spectacular transformation. :) When you have a moment, can you please list the plants you have in this set-up? I'm really happy for you! This is a great looking planted tank.

Did you add anymore plants in those 7 months? Or are all those the original plants grown in...

Nice tank btw

No, all the plants in the first pic died off on me with the original lighting.. i had upgraded to a 108watt shop light and thats how i was able to grow all those plants in the 2nd pic...

some of the plants are listed on the first post.. i will post up a more precise list soon as im rushing to get some groceries. lol

thank you all again :)
