55g Planted tank (The Start)

Thanks everyone.
Sure hope this one is a female. Already went though about 3 of them and no great success. So far this one is already eating so thats a plus.
they are pretty good community fish. Though they are cichlids they are considered "dwarf" cichlids which are more peaceful. I had never had my ram attack a tetra or cory or even a tiny molly fry. They keep to themselves. I mean occasionally it may shoot an angelfish away from some food, but its nothing damaging.

Nice looking fish! Its amazing how much fatter the male ram is compared to the female. Hopefully she will fatten up quickly, especially since she's eating already.

Thanks, other additions would probably be another female ram if i can find one and will up the current schools of tetras/rasboras
