55g Planted tank (The Start)

Hey Pacers, the rams are doing great, still growing slow but eating and chasing each other around. No pair yet. Ill be trying to redo the tank next week as to give the fish more space to swim. Im thinking of slowly upping the # of rams in the tank to see if that will bring in new attraction and the want to pair up. If that dont work then it would really suck.. So far seems like only luck im having is growing weeds.
 
BK let me know if you decide on upping your rams. My male has finally decided on one girl so I have 2 females that I may sell/ trade. I won't be getting rid of them until it warms up a bit though as I don't have heat packs.
 
BK - AC user schmidtfarm also has rams; she has lots of males.... I got my F1 male from her.....Mine paired up in just over a week. (not trying to step on any toes Snoopy) the last male I had with her; they never paired up (then he died) but this went well and they spawned a couple days ago...gotta just keep on tryin...

Thanks noodles as well. It just seems like im not providing the right conditions for them to pair up. Just about everyone told me to feed them live bloodworms and that will spark the spawning but just havent had the time to do it. And now i have 2 females (1 young 1 mature) and one young male in the tank (one mature male died month back) and the mature female seems to want to pair up with the male but hes scared of her lol
 
My female is a total bi*t@ and somehow they paired up! Right now she is guarding eggs and if he wanders to the other side of the tank she will go get him, very forcefully! LOL Talk about hen pecked! I feel sorry for the boy!

yeah. I havent been on this site for a looonnnng time now. Ive been on the planted tank site mainly. Cant wait for and update!! I posted a tank on this site? lemme check
