Sorry for not posting any updates in a while. Im waiting on my new plant order to come in. Will be trying to reduce the # of plants that require weekly maintenance.
Who knows maybe will post a few shots of it this week. But its nothing special at the moment.

I absolutely know what you are talking about. I've slowly been reducing the number of stem plants, and adding in crypts, ferns, and anubias to all of my tanks. With multiple tanks, it's way to time consuming to be dealing with stem plants.

Update will have to be postponed, i still have alot of plants floating that need to be shipped out. Once they are out, ill do an update shot.

LOVE your tank! And I LOVE the Rams. I have juvie Bolivian Rams - I hope they are as beautiful as yours when they mature!

Havent updated in a lonnngg while but here goes a halfarsed photo update.. I dont have my good camera at hand so had to use crackberry... (excuse the algae on the back.. saving that for the plecos)
Heres the before and after

As of this week
Over time I got rid of all the stem plants and floaters, and now am sticking to more slower growing plants. Got tired of doing weekly trims on the weeds...
So now my plant list is: Anubias (dif. varieties), Needle Fern, blyxa aubertii, crypts (dif. varieties), and flame moss.
I still have alot of work left to do with the plant scape since there are alot of empty spaces.. Maybe will get more anubias and hairgrass/blyxa for the froreground.
My fish stock changed as well.
Now consists of: 4 bolivian rams, 3 rainbowfish, 8-9 white clouds, 3 rummies, 3 spotted cories, 2 angelfish, 4-5 BN plecos, 1 SAE, 1 brig snail. In the future i still plan to get more white clouds, up the school of cories and get atleast 1 more rainbowfish.
