55g Stocking ideas

Hey Guys,
I have a 55 gal. tank with a green severum about 7". He looks pretty lonely in the tank and i wanted to start adding more fish. I really want to have a south american biotope, so any south american cichlid ideas would be great.

A pair of angels or festivums maybe.

My personal favourites are Blue Acaras, not too aggressive and stunning colours.

a blue acara is a perfect idea. Is it best to just keep 1 or in a pair. I also like the idea of angels. Do you think theres room to keep both?
