55g stocking

ok i can do that i guess. i have only one leleupi right now bcuz i lost one.

so here is he new stocking

x - multi's
6 julidochromis marlieri
1 neolamprologus lelupi
2 eretmodus cyanostictus
6-7 Neolamprologus caudopunctatus

Get rid of the leleupi if you want a julie pair to form. You won't have much room for them once the breeding behavior kicks in.

Be prepared to have lots of shells for both the multis and the caudopuncts (if they choose to use them). Splitting up the tank with a large rock pile in the middle with shell pits on either side would work well.

Agree with what has been said dude don't add the moori it will be disastrous.. if not your very lucky also what was said as well you are starting out with juvies so once you have pair bonds you will have to remove some or they will die..

As for the Caudopunct's my experience is that i had them in a 10gal when they were small and now they are in the 120gal and from that i can tell you that the pair bond stay on the left side and the rest stay away to the right really not going near the pair and rightfully so if they do they get chased back but the pair bond do not make an effort to go over and chase them for nonsense issues..

ok so thats fine. i just need to go buy the, now.....

would the j. transcriptus be a better option than the j. marlieri.

Yes because it usually stays smaller in general size compared to most Julido's and temperament is more mellow..

ill look into it.... what are the typical adult size for both species in the aquaria.

and also on another note: i might be able to get some dwarf petricolas instead of upsidedowns. depending on how much im gonna spend tho......

cool deal, i believe the transcript's get to be like 3 1/2 inches and the marlieri get to be like 5 inches.. some dwarf petri's will be awesome..

it will cost a lil more to get the transcriptus. but hey if im gonna buy this much fish what the heck is a few more dollars. im still deciding on the petricolas. how many am i supposed to get

ok that sounds fine. what is a good amount of petricolas to get? to see if i will spend much
