5g suggestions

I have a five. Currently occupied by a male betta and a clown pleco.

I've used it over the years for neons, harlequin rasboras (when young/small), as a hospital tank, and as a place to put livebearer fry out of reach of the parents. Many mollies, guppies, and platy's have spent their "childhoods" there before "graduating" to something larger.

My kids have kept guppies (only 2 or 3) in 3-gallon Eclipses, so I would be comfortable with a few of those in a 5. Larger livebearers, probably not.

tank is unbranded. it's just the standard 5gal tank found here in the PI.

that's my worry about cherry shrimps too, they might get eaten eventually. even gouramis would eat them. i actually found some frogs in our pet chainstore, but im not sure if it's and ADF or an ACF, their toes seem to be longer.

not sure if we have red velvet swordtails over here. but the red cherry shrimp is a strong consideration. i wish the breeder here have some new juvies to sell

gouramis mean bye bye shrimp haha i know someone whose gouramis ate her RCS.

not more than 5 guppies? 2 females and 2 males?
