can i add 3 mollies (1 inch) to a 6 gal cycled tank?
3 mollies will be the only fish in this tank..

what do you guy sthink??

probably not, mollies get quite big and aggressive if not given space, for mollies i would not go with anythiong smaller then 30gal

Mollies need lots of space, I do not keep mine in anything less than a 29 gallon and actually, I keep mine in a 55. These are fish that love to swim and need their room.
For healthy Mollies, they need lots of room, hard water (no salt), and plenty of algae growing in the tank for them to eat.

Best things to keep in your tank either a Betta, or a school of Dwarf Livebearers, info on my signiture and picture is my avatar. There are few fish I will recommend for a 5-6 gallon tank.

don't forget pea puffers aka dwarf puffers, you can get two into there if you decorate it right

i should have add to my post..
the 3 mollies are ready to drop thier fry..
i was think of using the 6 gal to raise some of the fry...

the 6 gal is not home.. my 72 gal tank is... :)

You could use the 6 gallon to raise some molly fry until they get big enough and you could get them a bigger home. A six gallon could work for a one male guppy and two females though. But with the guppies reproducing so quickly, it might be soon overstocked. Another option is a betta and a few pgmy cories.
