I personally wouldnt keep fish in it.(is it one of those MiniBow's?) If you want fish i would recomend atleast 10 gallons of water. But it would make an awsome Desktop shrimp tank,and shrimp are generally easy to maintain.

Cories need to be in groups of at least three and most will grow too large for your size tank. You might get away with panda cories or pygmy cories but then you will have little or no room left for anything else.

well think about it...You have 6 gallons of water base.you lose about 1gallon to substrate and decorations so in the end you end up with 5gallons of water to play with.So basicly your trying to run an eco-system in a bucket.
