You post whatever you want to including some blatantly wrong info in couple of threads. If someone wants to appear judgemental all that they're doing is being honest. We all judge others all the time. You calling him judgemental is in itself judgemental. The concept of judge not lest ye be judged is complete bs. A far better way to live is to judge others and prepare to be judged. And know when to keep the verdict to yourself.
Please remember that when posting do not judge, attack, berate, etc. our other forum members. Our opinions will differ wether the discussion be about fish care, parental guidance, actions of other etc. Remember when your caretakers used to tell you when you were young:
"if you don't have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all"
"treat others as you wish to be treated"
and the general guideline of, for every point of criticism give one point of praise.
Please be kind so that our moderators and administrators do not have to close this thread. Also so that in the future we are allowed to discus non fish related topics on our beloved forum.

that's not the point subrosa. krissy was verbally attacked for stating a belief relating to the op that most of us agree with in our own way. tech has an opinion that goes against the grain on this and being an american he has a right to view and speak that opinion but in doing so he was not too friendly and pretty much insulting. i think at that point krissy should be allowed to defend herself.
i have family that are on both sides of the fence on religion. i will say that those that pride themselves on "not judging" people are actually judging those who appear to be judgemental to them. i agree it's a double edge sword and there is no absolute right in the world of judging. also that EVERYONE CONSTANTLY JUDGES EVERYONE. it's animal (not just human) nature.
another thing to consider is that there are very few people (if any) that have not contradicted themselves in one way or another on this forum. or anywhere else for that matter. if not contradicting then at the very least giving information that's easily misunderstood or misconstrued. it's part of the train of thought and the human mind. none of us think the same. looking at the same scenario for different reasons or even just at different times is going to produce a totally different train of thought. even the best, most knowledgeable people are going to be wrong from time to time. not only that but you, i and tech have all given information that's highly questionable. i don't think condemning (or judging) krissy for that is fair.
here's a little bit i wrote up the other day i thought it best not to post or at least to wait out to see where this goes...
inherent insults and claims of education and wealth coupled with denial.
makes one wonder what a psychological professional would make of such a situation.

that guy should be punished and evaluated accordingly point blank. no matter "what side of the tracks" you may live on.
he got a free ride and his 15 seconds of fame. he got greedy. you do the crime you do the time. isn't that how our system is supposed to work?
now for the softer side of things... how many of you guys actually checked out that game? admit it guys, i know someone did.
... now back on track... i've been insulted blatantly myself. not only that but unrelated info has been posted to back up those insults and claims of my "misunderstanding" and/or "lack of intelligence or education". then at the height of the situation i get some ridiculous answer of how that was not aimed at anyone in particular. i have backed down or off several times so as not to be seen as the aggressor. i think it's absolutely astonishing that someone would have to take some of the insults coming from this guy because someone else might not understand them or expects me to be the bigger person because it's in his nature.
and come on now guys... everyone is going to bow to this guy because he uses big words not everyone understands... so he must be smart? i will say i do understand those words quite readily. i'm just not into confusing people so they believe me. i write things in plain english because language was created as a form of communication. not to back up someones inferiority complex and confuse those who are asking for help or clarification.
think about it... google it... some of the words printed are obviously misunderstood by the person using them. get the definitions and make sentences out of them. they don't always make sense when put together correctly.
to be honest most everyone who lasts long enough to have 50 posts on this site are actually pretty intelligent from what i'm seeing. that doesn't mean any of us know everything. i will even go as far as venturing to say that many of us don't know much of what we think we do. that's why we're here... to help ONE ANOTHER. as in ALL of us.
i consider jpappy to be extremely smart. he didn't know what to do about his ferts and his algae a couple weeks ago though. tech isn't stupid either but come on... he can't breed snails and some people have been duped into hanging from his every word it seems. he is also very wrong on some things. for instance nature DOES NOT equal a 20 or 50 gallon box of water and critters. he wants to do things naturally. nature doesn't put 2 wpg of uvc into anything... ever... anywhere. if so we'd all be blind. he has refuted and argued down by way of long posts very simple instructions on how to actually rid AND prevent algae almost permanently. then he goes on to say that a tank without noticeable algae cannot be healthy. i have no algae... a lot less uv (which i do use)... and no dead fish. so many statements are automatically wrong... by a proven scientific principle... observation.
at any rate this conversation/thread has gone way past the point of ridiculous and now i'm just feeding into it.
pappy figured it out (i think). subrosa... you and i are too intelligent for this. and also IF krissy is not of such intelligence for some reason then she'll need our help. i don't think backing her into a corner is the best way to provide that. you are smart enough to see that for yourself subrosa and tech should be confident enough in himself that that wasn't necessary... but i guess not.

That is just totally in error, either by mistake, or by design ...
However, the thread is dealing with MY public servants. I pay their darn wages; they work for me. What I am saying is that, they can form a "brotherhood", behave in a manner where even the President of the United States must call one of them "stupid", or whatever--that does NOT change anything--I pay their wages, they are my employee--I can critique any employee of mine I wish.
Now, be "friendly" to them, structure myself so I don't appear "insulting" to them? Are you joking, they work for me, I don't work for them.
And, pick up that and attempt to turn it towardsI a poster here? My gawd man, no poster here even deserves such consideration, thought and my time. My public servants work for me, as I stated; they may not like to realize they are my servant--but, THEY ARE. NO ONE HERE FITS THAT CRITERIA, that I know of!
Now, you want me to take responsibility because someone here picks up my thoughts, views, statements, etc. and points them towards them self, as if saying, "Hey, that sounds like me! Take that back!"

What really eats at me is that you said, yourself, something along the lines of following "WWJD" yet its okay to belittle a persons educational and societal status to the point that they are inferior...you were not critiquing the WORK that these "servants" do (which in theory is acceptable for any employer to do) but rather their view of the world as "draconian" and unacceptable to the elite and educated that you "hang out with"...my goodness these are still people...at they very core you must have some belief that their experiences and views are every bit as valid as yours?
